Hangzhou, 6 August 2026 – DeepSeek plans to introduce a substantial price increase across its artificial intelligence services, marking a notable change in strategy for the Chinese company whose ultra-low fees intensified competition among domestic and international model developers.

The Hangzhou-based company announced the planned adjustment in a notice posted on Thursday. It did not disclose the size of the increases or provide a detailed pricing schedule, but described them as significant and advised customers to prepare for the changes.
