Hong Kong, 22 August 2026 – Pan-Asian digital infrastructure and high-density computing operator DayOne has secured a US$237 million syndicated term loan facility from a consortium of international and regional financial institutions to finance the development of its flagship hyperscale data center in Hong Kong, accelerating capital deployment ahead of its planned initial public offering (IPO) on United States equity exchanges. The substantial debt financing package highlights sustained institutional appetite for institutional-grade computational real estate across premier Asian connectivity hubs.
The US$237 million credit facility will be deployed to construct, fit out, and commission DayOne’s next-generation data center campus in Hong Kong, designed specifically to accommodate high-density artificial intelligence workloads, cloud interconnects, and enterprise financial compute. The facility features advanced liquid cooling architecture, dedicated direct fiber routes to major subsea cable landing stations, and a target power usage effectiveness (PUE) below 1.25. Securing structured debt financing enables DayOne to accelerate infrastructure construction while optimizing its weighted average cost of capital prior to public equity listing.
