Los Angeles, 2 October 2026 – Ben Affleck is pushing for a more measured use of artificial intelligence in filmmaking, arguing that the technology should support human creativity rather than replace actors, writers or other professionals.
The actor-director said AI was used extensively during production of his upcoming Netflix thriller Animals, but stressed that the tools were applied within an ethical framework designed to protect creative work and avoid replacing people.
