Singapore, 28 April 2026 – Asian equities moved cautiously on Tuesday as investors paused near recent record highs, waiting for major technology earnings and a series of central bank decisions that could determine whether the market’s powerful April rebound has further room to run.

MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan slipped 0.12%, hovering near the record high reached on Monday. The index remains on track for a 17% gain in April, after falling 13.5% in March, reflecting a sharp recovery in risk appetite led by technology, artificial intelligence and semiconductor-linked optimism.
