KUALA LUMPUR, 21 October 2025 –Asia Mobiliti, Malaysia’s leading Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) technology firm, and Theoremus, a Bulgarian specialist in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly explore and develop commercial opportunities in the transport sector across Asia and Eastern Europe.
The signing, held during the Ninth Selangor International Business Summit 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, marks the beginning of a strategic partnership focused on leveraging data, technology, and innovation to enhance the efficiency, sustainability, and connectivity of public transport systems worldwide.
The ceremony was witnessed by Kamelinder Singh from the Investment & Industry Development Division of the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), the national agency under the Ministry of Digital.
This alliance brings together Asia Mobiliti’s extensive experience in digital mobility platforms and Theoremus’ expertise in transport data and intelligent systems. Together, the two companies aim to develop new applications using intelligent analytics, predictive technologies, and open data frameworks to improve transport planning, fleet management, and overall passenger experiences across diverse urban and regional environments.
The collaboration was developed and facilitated by WIPPD, led by Managing Director Raj Mendhir, aligning with the firm’s mission to drive strategic growth and local execution for global companies expanding into Malaysia.
This partnership also marks Theoremus’ expansion from the UK and Europe into Malaysia and the broader ASEAN region, built on a shared vision of innovation, interoperability, and digital integration.
