Ant Group Spin-Offs Seek Independent Capital and Global Scale

Hong Kong, 30 July 2026 – Ant Group’s independently operated businesses are pursuing fresh capital and strategic partnerships, signalling a new phase in the Chinese fintech group’s restructuring. The approach gives individual units more freedom to fund expansion and establish market-based valuations while keeping access to Ant’s technology and ecosystem.

Ant International recently raised about US$1.2 billion to accelerate cross-border payments, account services and AI-enabled commerce. Operating independently since 2024, the Singapore-headquartered business connects more than 150 million merchants with over two billion user accounts through platforms including Alipay+, Antom, WorldFirst and Bettr.
