Seoul, 7 October 2026 – A planned meeting between AMD chief executive Lisa Su and Samsung Electronics’ semiconductor leadership is drawing investor attention to one of the artificial-intelligence industry’s most important constraints: securing enough advanced memory and manufacturing capacity to convert processor demand into deliverable systems.

The discussions come as AMD prepares to increase chip supply substantially in 2027 to meet demand for AI infrastructure. Samsung is both a major memory producer and an advanced foundry operator, giving any deeper relationship strategic weight.
