Bengaluru, 6 August 2026 – Alphabet is seeking to raise as much as US$25 billion through a new US bond offering, extending Big Tech’s shift towards debt financing as investment in artificial intelligence places growing pressure on corporate cash flows.

The Google parent is offering notes in as many as 10 tranches, according to a regulatory filing. The proposed maturities range from two to 40 years, allowing Alphabet to spread its refinancing obligations across different parts of the yield curve.
