Affin Bank to Seal Landmark Pact with Marriott Bonvoy

KUCHING – Affin Bank Berhad will tomorrow formalise a partnership with Marriott Bonvoy, the world’s largest hotel chain with over 7,000 properties globally. The collaboration marks the bank’s entry into the lifestyle and travel segment, offering customers exclusive access to premium hospitality experiences, special dining offers and event privileges.

Speaking at the launch of Affin’s new Sarawak regional and corporate office, president and CEO Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah said the partnership reflects “mutual respect and shared values of growth and customer centricity.” The bank now operates 13 branches in Sarawak and aims to further expand its presence in the state.

Affin continues to post strong growth nationwide. As of June 2025, Affin Diventium Private Banking surpassed its annual target with RM1.65 billion in assets under management, while group profit before tax for 1H2025 rose 22.1% year-on-year to RM358 million. Total assets expanded to RM117 billion, underlining resilience despite global headwinds.
