Tokyo, 29 October 2026 – Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and Siemens Energy have signed a memorandum of cooperation to promote floating offshore wind projects, strengthen related supply chains and train specialist workers. It is a cooperation framework, not an announced wind-farm award or a construction commitment. No project capacity, investment amount or commercial revenue has been disclosed in the material reviewed.
