Adelaide, 22 October 2026 – Santos Limited has narrowed its 2026 production guidance to between 99 million and 102 million barrels of oil equivalent, cutting the previous upper limit of 105 million after disruptions at the Pikka oil project in Alaska. The Australian energy producer nevertheless reported record third-quarter output of 26.3 million barrels of oil equivalent and sales revenue of US$2.01 billion.

The update matters to Asian energy investors because Santos supplies liquefied natural gas and oil into regional markets while bringing two major growth projects, Barossa and Pikka, through ramp-up. The quarterly figures and revised guidance are confirmed company disclosures. Further production growth depends on reservoir management, plant reliability and the absence of additional weather or transport interruptions.
