Petaling Jaya, 22 October 2026 – Tien Wah Press Holdings Berhad has completed the acquisition of five parcels of industrial land and buildings in Malang, Indonesia, for 150 billion rupiah, equivalent to about RM34 million. Its 51%-owned indirect subsidiary, PT Bintang Pesona Jagat, completed the cash purchase from PT Bentoel Prima on 21 October after the parties satisfied the agreed conditions.

The transaction matters to Malaysian and regional investors because it gives the printing and packaging group control of a production site it already uses, reducing the disruption and capital risk associated with relocating operations. Completion of the acquisition is confirmed; any improvement in long-term efficiency or earnings will depend on utilisation, financing costs and demand from customers in Indonesia rather than on ownership alone.
