Kuala Lumpur, 14 October 2026 – Pantech Global Bhd has agreed to sell a 10-acre freehold industrial site in Klang for RM31.73 million cash, redirecting capital after regulatory delays changed its factory expansion plan. The disposal allows the carbon-steel pipe-fittings manufacturer to recover most of the funds committed to a property acquired less than two years ago.

The group’s wholly owned subsidiary, Pantech Steel Industries Sdn Bhd, signed the sale agreement with property developer Veltrix Land Sdn Bhd. Pantech bought the land in December 2024 for RM29.79 million, including stamp duty and professional costs, and expects a net pro forma gain of about RM769,000.
