Kuala Lumpur, 9 October 2026 – TalentCorp has introduced the Malaysia Talent Readiness Index and the MyBakat Talent Incubation Programme to identify workforce gaps and develop industry-ready skills as artificial intelligence, digitalisation and the green economy reshape jobs. The initiatives support Malaysia’s effort to convert incoming investment into higher-value employment for local workers.
The readiness index is designed to show workforce strengths, weaknesses and emerging requirements, giving policymakers and employers a more systematic basis for training decisions. The incubation programme focuses on developing talent around industry needs. Their usefulness will depend on current data, transparent methodology and evidence that identified gaps lead to effective programmes.
