Seoul, 8 October 2026 – Samsung Electronics has issued extraordinary third-quarter guidance, estimating consolidated sales of about 195 trillion won and operating profit of approximately 107.4 trillion won. The preliminary figures point to a dramatic acceleration from a year earlier and underline how demand for artificial-intelligence infrastructure is reshaping the economics of the global memory-chip industry.

The guidance, prepared under Korean accounting standards, places sales within a range of 194 trillion to 196 trillion won and operating profit between 107.3 trillion and 107.5 trillion won. For comparison, Samsung reported third-quarter 2025 sales of 86.06 trillion won and operating profit of 12.17 trillion won. The company has not yet released divisional detail, so investors must wait for the full results before assigning the improvement across memory, foundry, mobile and display operations.
