Hong Kong, 6 October 2026 – Hermitage Capital is maintaining a high-conviction strategy in artificial intelligence, semiconductors and robotics despite geopolitical tension and volatile technology valuations, having deployed more than US$200 million under a three-year plan to invest US$500 million across global AI and robotics opportunities.
The Hong Kong-founded private-equity firm manages about US$1.5 billion, with roughly 80% of its capital denominated in US dollars and the balance in renminbi. Its current deployment is concentrated mainly in the United States and China, placing the portfolio across the world’s two largest technology ecosystems while also exposing it to export controls, currency movements and regulatory divergence.
