Putrajaya, 6 October 2026 – Two collection agents within MyEG Group had not remitted RM314 million in Road Transport Department revenue collected between 19 May and 30 September, according to the Transport Ministry, exposing the financial-control risk created when public payments pass through private intermediaries before reaching government accounts.

The ministry identified My EG Sdn Bhd and Zetrix AI Bhd as the parties involved. It said collection agents are required to transfer public revenue within one business day, yet the amount remained outstanding after 35 reminders and four engagement sessions. Services provided by the companies were suspended on 5 October as the government sought settlement and reviewed the collection arrangement.
