Yinson FPSO Upgrade Adds US$600 Million Backlog and Extends Lease to 2036

Kuala Lumpur, 5 October 2026 – Yinson Production has signed a contract amendment with Eni for a major gas-capacity upgrade on the FPSO John Agyekum Kufuor offshore Ghana, extending the vessel’s firm lease to 2036 and adding approximately US$600 million to Yinson’s firm contract backlog.

The amendment, signed on 2 October, covers a Non-Associated Gas modification project intended to address declining reservoir pressure and expand the floating production, storage and offloading vessel’s gas-handling capability. Gas-export capacity is expected to rise from roughly 210 million to 220 million standard cubic feet a day to 355 million standard cubic feet a day after completion.
