Citaglobal’s LAWI Secures RM29 Million Thai Waste-to-Energy Scope

Citaglobal’s LAWI Engineering secured a RM29 million scope within a RM52.1 million consortium contract for a 9.9 MW waste-to-energy plant in Thailand.

Kuala Lumpur, 5 October 2026 – Citaglobal Berhad’s environmental business has expanded its Southeast Asian project pipeline after LAWI Engineering GmbH secured an engineering and equipment-supply scope worth about RM29 million for a waste-to-energy plant in Thailand.

LAWI Germany, a 55%-owned entity of Citaglobal Environment Management Sdn Bhd, is part of a consortium awarded a RM52.1 million contract by Siam Power Co., Ltd. for the Siam Power Naklang project. The consortium will provide engineering, procurement and construction services for the steam-boiler plant, together with basic engineering for the wider technology component.
