Kuala Lumpur, 28 August 2026 – Globetronics Technology Berhad reported a sharp sequential improvement in fourth-quarter revenue and gross margin, but impairment charges pushed the semiconductor group deeper into loss for FY2026. Gross margin recovered to 19.6% from 8% in the preceding quarter. Even so, the fourth quarter produced an operating loss of RM26.31 million, a loss before tax of RM28.54 million and a loss after tax of RM27.33 million, largely reflecting impairments involving preference shares and financial assets.
