Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 17 August 2026 – Celestica is preparing to create more than 2,100 jobs in Malaysia as the electronics manufacturing group expands capacity serving artificial-intelligence, cloud and data-centre customers.
The planned hiring signals how global investment in computing infrastructure is moving beyond chip designers and hyperscale operators into the manufacturing networks that build servers, networking equipment and high-reliability systems. Malaysia’s established electrical and electronics base gives it a credible position in that supply chain, particularly in Penang and Johor.
