Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 17 August 2026 – Kerjaya Prospek Group has increased its interest in ES Sunlogy to 31%, moving the construction company to within about two percentage points of the 33% threshold that can trigger a mandatory general offer under Malaysian takeover rules.
Through its subsidiary Acumen Matrix, Kerjaya Prospek acquired 21 million shares, equivalent to 2.73% of ES Sunlogy, from four shareholders. The purchase cost RM5.36 million, translating into an average price of 25.54 sen a share.
