Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 17 August 2026 – Foreign institutions extended their selling streak in Malaysian equities to a second week, recording RM623.6 million in net outflows during the five sessions ended 14 August.
Foreign investors were net sellers on every trading day. Friday produced the largest daily outflow at RM181.3 million, followed by RM171.4 million on Tuesday, indicating that the exit was sustained rather than driven by a single block transaction or index event.
