AI Demand Drives Singapore Non-Oil Exports Up 24.2% in July

Singapore, 17 August 2026 – Singapore’s non-oil domestic exports grew 24.2 per cent year on year in July, extending June’s 20.8 per cent expansion as global artificial-intelligence demand continued to lift electronics shipments.

Electronic non-oil exports increased 112 per cent, accelerating from 105.1 per cent in June. Disk media products rose 339.1 per cent, adding S$1.6 billion, while integrated-circuit exports climbed 84.5 per cent and contributed S$1.4 billion. The figures underline how data infrastructure and computing investment are reshaping Singapore’s trade cycle.
