Kuala Lumpur, 16 August 2026 – Malaysia’s construction sector could receive more than RM14 billion in public infrastructure awards during the second half of 2026 if scheduled projects proceed.
The potential pipeline includes Penang light-rail packages estimated at RM7 billion–RM8 billion, the RM4 billion Perak–Penang Water Supply Scheme and RM3.7 billion of Langat 2 Phase 2 water-treatment packages.
