Viu–TrueVisions Deal Expands Thai Content’s Regional Streaming Economics

Bangkok, 13 August 2026 – Regional streaming platform Viu and Thailand’s TrueVisions Now have formed a content collaboration that will bring a branded selection of Thai series to viewers in Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines from 20 August. The launch marks the first TrueVisions-branded programming block outside Thailand and illustrates how Southeast Asian media groups are using partnerships to extend content economics across borders.

The initial zone will offer six series spanning comedy, romance, period fantasy, crime and horror. Titles include A Sample Family, Oops! I’m The Concubine, My Wife’s Gunslinger God, The Cops Spy On Stage, Mui Fei The Medium and To Love And Cherish. Additional programmes are planned over time, giving TrueVisions a distribution channel beyond its domestic subscriber base and enabling Viu to deepen its catalogue of locally resonant Asian entertainment.
