Jakarta, Indonesia, 12 August 2026 – Uniqlo has introduced its first standalone hijab collection for Malaysia and Indonesia, deepening the Japanese apparel group’s localisation strategy in two of Southeast Asia’s largest Muslim consumer markets.
The collection adds three dedicated hijab styles to Uniqlo’s modest-wear range: an AIRism design with ultraviolet protection, a lightweight georgette option and a satin version intended for more formal styling. An inner cap is also included. In Indonesia, the products were scheduled for nationwide store and online availability from 10 August, while official product listings placed broader availability around mid-August.
