Kuala Lumpur, 11 August 2026 – Signature International Berhad has revitalised Kechara Soup Kitchen’s Jalan Imbi centre, applying its design and project-management capabilities to create a dual-purpose facility for food distribution and community empowerment.

Developed under the Signature Cares corporate responsibility platform, the facility combines an operational kitchen with a flexible training space. During daily operations, it supports the preparation and distribution of meals to underserved communities. Between meal services, the same space can host cooking, baking and other skills-development programmes intended to improve beneficiaries’ confidence, employability and financial independence.

The project represents a practical extension of Signature’s experience in designing and delivering functional living environments. The Bursa Malaysia-listed group contributed expertise spanning design, manufacturing, installation and project management to improve workflow and conditions for Kechara Soup Kitchen’s staff, volunteers and beneficiaries.
