MRCB and TECO Target Scalable AI-Ready Modular Data Centres

Kuala Lumpur, 10 August 2026 – Malaysian Resources Corporation and Taiwan-based TECO Electric & Machinery are working toward a partnership to develop and validate AI-ready modular data centres, extending Malaysia’s digital-infrastructure pipeline into a more flexible deployment model.

The companies have signed a memorandum of understanding covering development, deployment and operational validation. The proposed modular facilities will support both air-cooled and liquid-cooled rack platforms, reflecting the higher power densities required by artificial-intelligence computing.
