Beijing, 9 August 2026 – Chinese graphics processing unit developer Moore Threads Technology has announced plans to seek an offshore listing on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, advancing China’s strategic drive to scale homegrown artificial intelligence computing power and build domestic alternatives to Western chipmakers. The company confirmed that its board of directors has approved proposals related to issuing overseas-listed foreign shares, known as H shares, as part of a broader capital expansion strategy to fund next-generation AI accelerator research and manufacturing capacity.
