Las Vegas, 7 August 2026 – Digital infrastructure provider Switch has confidentially submitted regulatory filings for an initial public offering in the United States, positioning the high-density data center operator for one of the largest technology market debuts of the decade. The confidential filing marks a major step toward a public market return that could raise up to $10 billion as soon as the fourth quarter of 2026, valuing the company at up to $80 billion including debt.
The planned public offering is being coordinated alongside lead financial advisers including Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citigroup, and Morgan Stanley. Switch, which was taken private in 2022 by DigitalBridge and IFM Investors in an $11 billion transaction, has been expanding its capital structure to support surging enterprise demand for artificial intelligence compute infrastructure. As part of its pre-IPO capital alignment, venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz has led a strategic investment round, with co-founder Ben Horowitz joining Switch’s board of directors.
