Sabah, 13 July 2026 – Malaysia’s capital market could mobilise between RM90 billion and RM100 billion in sustainability-focused financing over the next five years as regulators seek to turn climate and social ambitions into investable opportunities.
Securities Commission Malaysia chairman Dato’ Mohammad Faiz Azmi said the target forms part of the Capital Market Masterplan 2026–2030, which identifies sustainability and social finance as important areas for market development.
