Kuala Lumpur, 6 July 2026 – BM GreenTech Berhad is expanding into utility-scale renewable energy assets through the acquisition of NEFIN V Power Sdn Bhd, marking its first step into Malaysia’s greenfield solar power generation sector.

The acquisition is being undertaken through BM GreenTech’s wholly owned subsidiary Plus Xnergy Holding Sdn Bhd, which will acquire 100% equity interest in NEFIN V Power. The special purpose vehicle holds the rights to develop a 29.99 MWac solar photovoltaic farm under the Corporate Green Power Programme.
