Kuala Lumpur, 30 June 2026 – Malaysia’s official reserve assets increased to US$130.63 billion at the end of May 2026, reflecting continued external liquidity strength as Bank Negara Malaysia monitors global currency conditions and capital-flow developments.
The latest figure compares with US$129.73 billion recorded at the end of April 2026, indicating a month-on-month increase in the country’s reserve position.
