Hong Kong actor Chow Yun-fat, well-known for his down-to-earth lifestyle, is often spotted jogging, hiking, or dining alone — usually with fans stopping him for selfies, which he happily entertains.
But his recent outing played out a little differently.
According to Hong Kong media, the 70-year-old star was seen in Shau Kei Wan’s Main Street East, queuing outside a noodle shop after parking his car and crossing the street like any regular customer. While some people chatted with him at the entrance, not a single phone was raised for a photo request.
It appears he was left to enjoy his meal in peace, quietly slurping away at his noodles.
Later, photos emerged online showing Chow in a casual get-up: cap, mask, short-sleeved T-shirt, long trousers, and flip-flops — blending seamlessly into the neighbourhood crowd.
