Bursa Malaysia, Parliament Speaker Join Forces to Boost Youth Capital Market Literacy

Bursa Malaysia Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Fad’l Mohamed and his team met with Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr.) Johari bin Abdul to explore initiatives aimed at empowering Malaysia’s youth.

The discussions centred on advancing youth leadership, deepening their understanding of the capital markets, and enhancing financial literacy nationwide. They also addressed preparations for the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) Summit in September 2025, where Malaysia will showcase its Public Listed Companies (PLCs) to ASEAN parliamentarians, research officers, corporate leaders, and young participants.

Bursa Malaysia reaffirmed its commitment to working alongside Parliament to highlight the nation’s strengths and promote capital market literacy as a driver of youth empowerment.
