SHAH ALAM, 22 October 2025 — Fintech platform Fiuu has announced a strategic partnership with Pos Malaysia, the national postal and parcel service provider, and Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PayNet) to introduce a groundbreaking cashless solution for cash-on-delivery (COD) payments.
Powered by Fiuu’s innovative payment platform and leveraging PayNet’s DuitNow QR, the initiative aims to redefine how Malaysians complete COD transactions, delivering a seamless, secure, and fully cashless experience right at their doorstep.
Customers can now make instant payments for their parcels by simply scanning a QR code on their smartphones. This eliminates the need for cash handling, accelerates delivery efficiency, and enhances transaction security—supporting Malaysia’s national drive towards a cashless society.
Developed by PayNet, DuitNow QR is Malaysia’s national QR payment standard, enabling easy and accessible digital transactions nationwide. Through this initiative, more than 6,000 Pos Malaysia riders across Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak will be equipped to collect COD payments digitally.
The solution addresses long-standing operational challenges such as manual cash handling, lack of small change, and cash loss due to misplacement or theft. By adopting DuitNow QR, Pos Malaysia is modernising parcel payments and setting a new standard for efficiency and trust in the courier, express and parcel (CEP) industry.
DuitNow QR’s interoperability also extends to cross-border e-wallets and mobile banking services including Alipay+, Weixin Pay (WeChat Pay), UnionPay QR, QRIS, NETS, and PromptPay, allowing local and international customers to pay effortlessly. With Fiuu’s enhanced cross-border features, Pos Malaysia can serve a broader customer base, including non-Malaysian users, at domestic payment rates.
Driving Malaysia’s Digital Economy
Delivering over 30 million parcels annually, Pos Malaysia’s integration of DuitNow QR marks a major step towards digital transformation. The Fiuu, Pos Malaysia, PayNet partnership enhances customer convenience, minimises cash-handling risks, and supports the government’s digital economy and cashless payment objectives.
“Through this partnership, Fiuu is driving Malaysia’s digital economy forward with secure, innovative, and automated payment solutions,” said Eng Sheng Guan, CEO of Fiuu. “By converting COD to DuitNow QR, we are streamlining reconciliation and enabling a new level of efficiency for businesses and consumers.”
