CUSTA Revolutionises Customisation for SMEs with Instant Pricing, Unlimited Design

KUALA LUMPUR, 22 October 2025 — CUSTA, Malaysia’s homegrown customisation e-commerce platform, has announced a full-scale renewal of its service, doubling its product catalogue to 4,000 items, introducing unlimited customisation combinations, and integrating instant best-price and lead-time features that replace the slow manual WhatsApp quotation process long common in the industry.

With this relaunch, CUSTA becomes the first platform in Malaysia to combine unlimited customisation specifications with real-time pricing at scale, a milestone that sets a new benchmark for digital customisation and small and medium enterprises (SME) empowerment.

The redesigned platform features an enhanced catalogue capable of displaying thousands of items with improved clarity and speed, alongside a dynamic product page where users can instantly adjust specifications, view live price updates, and receive delivery estimates. What previously took 8 to 15 business days in traditional offline procurement can now be completed within a week, with some orders fulfilled on the same day.

The platform upgrade arrives at a critical time for Malaysia’s economy. SMEs make up nearly 90% of all businesses, contribute around 40% of GDP, and employ nearly half of the national workforce. As the government pushes for SMEs to contribute 45% of GDP by 2025 through digitalisation initiatives like MyDIGITAL, CUSTA’s renewal reflects how local innovation is driving faster, smarter, and more transparent solutions in Malaysia’s growing digital economy.

Since its launch, CUSTA has delivered over 500,000 customised items across Malaysia and Singapore, with more than 90% of its orders serving Malaysian SMEs and small brands, helping them enhance their branding and merchandising capabilities. The company has recorded a sevenfold year-on-year sales growth, signalling strong market demand for its unique blend of automation and design freedom.

“SMEs make up nearly half of Malaysia’s GDP, yet customisation has always been slow, restricted, and inefficient,” said Joe Takagi, Chief Executive Officer of CUSTA. “The relaunch of CUSTA removes these barriers by combining unlimited design freedom with instant price transparency, empowering every Malaysian business and individual to access professional-grade customisation services. This is more than a platform upgrade — it’s a step toward realising Malaysia’s digital economy ambitions and building new value chains that create growth and jobs nationwide.”

Looking ahead, CUSTA plans to expand its customisation capabilities and introduce new professional and enterprise solutions. By lowering barriers to bespoke production, the company aims to stimulate new demand for customised goods, open opportunities for Malaysian designers and creators, and boost employment across the production and fulfilment ecosystem, directly supporting Malaysia’s SME competitiveness and digital economy goals.

To mark its second anniversary, CUSTA has launched the “CUSTA Service Renewal Campaign”, running until 30 November 2025. Customers can enjoy a 10% discount using the promo code NEWCUSTA and receive free design support for purchases of RM300 or more.
